Amata Valgre is pet friendly, small and medium size pets are welcome but they should also be well behaved, don't disturb other guests and pets. Pets shall spend the night in their owner's room that will be provided with a small bed for pets, ecologically and efficaciously protected from ticks and fleas thanks to an innovating and revolutionary technology. Even the garden is equipped with a professional DogBox.

In the area of... "That branch of the Lake of Como, which turns toward the South between two unbroken chains of mountains, presenting to the eye a succession of bays and gulfs, formed by their jutting and retiring ridges, suddenly contracts itself, between a headland to the right and an extended sloping bank on the left...", a pleasant village called Valgreghentino in the province of Lecco. Surrounded by hills and mountains, it is situated along the path of Saint'Augustin pilgrim and around it there are also the famous Airuno Lombard fortress, Dozio Czestochowa Sanctuary and San Genesio Sanctuary. It is located in the Montevecchia and Curone natural park and its name comes from Greghentino creek, that is a direct tributary of Adda river. And exactly following Adda river from here along the 21Km long cycle lane in the North Adda Park passing the provinces of Lecco, Bergamo, Monza and even Milan, that is just at one hour distance by car, among wild canyons and a breathtaking landscape, that inspired Leonardo Da Vinci his most famous painting, it is possible to reach in a short time Imbersago, Paderno and Trezzo d'Adda where Leonardo ferry, San Michele iron bridge, which is one of the extraordinary industrial works of art of the nineteenth century and belonging to Unesco treasure, Leonardo da Vinci flight of locks, an Ecomuseum dedicated to him, Edison and Enel dams and electric power plants and the ancient Crespi d'Adda workers village will welcome any tourist. Up the lake by boat, Varenna, Bellagio, Cernobbio and Como, famous all over the world for their beauty, will enchant the eyes of anyone. Valgreghentino is located in a really quiet and strategic position at just 10 Km from Lecco, that can be easily reached by functional means of transport, and enjoys an amazing view up to Resegone, Grigna, Tesoro mounts and till the snowy tops of Pizzo dei Tre Signori mountain.

In this wonderful natural frame you will find "Amata Valgre", a Lombard Guesthouse of new conception. The accommodation has recently been completely renovated and it is composed of three double bedrooms that have been realized taking care of any detail, in particular taking part to SPS project according to which a good night sleep is the first wellness treatment for each guest: "Hotel sweet sleep" is a project gathering accommodations for which each guest is a jewel laid on a welcoming pillow. For that reason Amata Valgre bedrooms are not only comfortable and relaxing but all provided with anti-mite and hypoallergenic device, pillow menu and that way become a relax refuge that helps to forget modern life chaos and rhythm. All that because, not only training and food are important for our health but also a good night sleep. Amata Valgre also has a nice garden with barbecue, solarium and a refreshing swimming pool in order to allow their guests to enjoy both a short and long term stay.
